Easily the best cacio e pepe in town!! I've tried a lot already and this is truly my favorite. The vibe of the place is also so nice- not too stiff and casual enough. Good place to impress visitors :)
Apologies to the owners—I know the goal is to attract more customers, but I have to keep this place a secret! Every dish was packed with incredible flavor, from the bread to the duck pasta to the octopus. It’s rare to find a spot that offers a family-style experience while still feeling sophisticated and tailored for adults (likely because of the dishes themselves). And the drinks? Absolutely amazing. I’ll definitely be back! Service was kind. Vibe inside is warm. 10s across the board chat!
We were a large group of 15 people from my business school. The place was incredible. Service was amazing. Shaming I did not take any pictures as I was very involved in the conversation. Pro tip: if you are organizing a preset menu, avoid pizza as an appetizer :) even though the pizza was delicious. The snap peas salad was insane. Main course was excellent as well. Wine selection was great. That Sancerre did its magic! Overall excellent experience.
busy and intimate atmosphere, even at 10pm! the cured meats are a must-order - ask for the chef's selection. the spaghettini dish was unlike any other i've had at an italian restaurant. the olive oil cake was not too sweet and a very pleasant dessert. it's clear they put a lot of thought into their menu.
What an amazing place. Fresh pasta and bread. So delicious, some of the best I've had! I can say enough about the quality of the food. Even the salad was magnificent. Go now! You will not be disappointed. Tell em Barsnobs sent ya!
Food is delicious ! Very high quality ingredients. Atmosphere feels like an authentic southern European country. Staff could be improved and could be more attentive to their customers. From the entrance to the moment we received the check the whole service experience has been unpleasant unfortunately.
2nd time here, and it was to celebrate a friends birthday. Despite it being busy, our server was attentive, friendly and checked in on us often. We shared the octopus & crispy artichokes - highly recommend and it seemed to a fav at many tables. I had the squid ink pasta & it was really flavorful. For dessert we tried the chocolate budino & olive oil cake, both were delicious. Vibe is nice but can be noisy.
Favorite Italian place. We always get the prosciutto, carbonara (only available for lunch) and the spaghettini bottarga. The taste is pretty consistent - though we think the pasta tastes better/is more consistent for brunch/lunch. The olive oil they give you with the bread basket tastes so good. After we tasted the olive oil here we don't get the olive oil that we eat bread with from anywhere else than the market here. The dessert options are great too. We like the olive oil cake (the seasonal ones are good too) and the flourless chocolate cake. Servers are always attentive, efficient, welcoming and nice. We never had a negative experience here. We were always pleased by the wine recommendations too.
